World of Warcraft Classic fans are in for a treat as Blizzard rolls out an extensive update leading into phase 2 of the Season of Discovery. The level cap has been elevated to 40, paving the way for players to embark on a thrilling endgame adventure with the redesigned Gnomeregan raid. Originally a 5-player dungeon, Gnomeregan has been transformed into an epic 10-player raid filled with challenges and six distinct boss battles. This new format is accompanied by an array of unique loot, drawing inspiration from iconic World of Warcraft items like the Automatic Crowd Pummeler.
Moreover, the update introduces two fresh Runes for each of the nine playable classes, significantly expanding customization options and inviting players to experiment with innovative builds, including a Warlock capable of taking on tanking duties and Warriors enhanced with extra abilities to boost their damage output.
The PvP scene also receives a boost with the all-new Blood Moon world event occurring tri-hourly in Stranglethorn Vale. This event encourages players to engage in combat for a chance to obtain newly introduced gear.
Level 40, being the new ceiling, also means players can now access their first mounts. This includes traditional faction-specific mounts as well as two new mounts not limited by faction, offering more variety in players’ choices.
For those just starting their journey in Season of Discovery, a 50 percent experience boost has been instituted, enabling newcomers to reach the initial level cap of 25 with ease, ensuring they can quickly catch up to the ongoing adventures leading up to level 40.
This update marks a significant milestone in World of Warcraft Classic, enriching the gaming experience with new content, customization, and challenges for both old and new players alike.
